Exploring Value Chain Opportunities for Solar Reactor Integration

As part of the SOLEAS research project, we, together with the project coordinator AEE INTEC, invite you to an interdisciplinary online workshop on the future of regional raw material and energy production via photochemical processes. 

Can decentralized chemical production using solar photochemical processes render agricultural businesses, biogas plants, and industrial companies more resilient, independent, and economically viable? 

Can solar-based conversion of biogas CO2 into ethene and nitrogen compounds into ammonia be promising pathways for a circular economy?

Together, we will explore how the SOLEAS technology could be integrated into future value chains, which promising use cases could emerge, and what new business and prosumer models could enable its successful implementation.

The online workshop provides a platform for interdisciplinary exchange, discussion, and the joint development of new perspectives on regional energy and circular value chains.

• What requirements must solar photoreactor technologies meet to be successfully integrated into existing regional and industrial value chains?
